Role overview
This year, the Media team will focus on documenting the team’s work, showcasing project progress, and building a strong public presence across all of our social media platforms. This role will help capture photos and videos of team activities, events, testing, and other important moments throughout the year. The member will also have opportunities to contribute to creative editing, graphic design, and other media projects. We plan to hire 1 general member for this role.
What we are looking for
Preferred Skills (highly encouraged, but not mandatory): Basic understanding of camera operation and photography Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve Familiarity with graphic desgin software such as Canva or Photoshop Creative eye for composition, storytelling, and visual presentation Ability to identify moments and content that would be valuable for social media
Project context
The Media members will help tell the story of the team and its project by documenting engineering work, testing, events, outreach, and team activities. They will collaborate with all other subteams to gather content and turn it into engaging material for the team's social media platforms and other public-facing communications.
