Valor - Member
Valor Membership Program
Role overview
Valor is an underclassmen program, designed to give non-experienced members hands-on opportunities building a 10k solid motor rocket. Teams of 10-14 students are grouped across every subteam, mirroring SRT’s IREC competition team. Throughout the year, members present their designs at Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), get trained with hands-on time at the RELLIS manufacturing facility, and work directly with SRT student mentors and team leads to bring their design to flight. Valor is an opportunity for students to learn the full rocket design lifecycle including deadlines, reviews, and teamwork that go into launching a competition vehicle.
